Reports to: Assistant Director of Cadet Programs-Cadet Activities Function: Manages most aspects of Cadet Life at the Wing Level. Openings: 1 Position Summary: The 33rd CTG/CC implements the vision of the Director of Cadet Programs and to enhance the Cadet Life in Oregon Wing. The CTG/CC will be the Right-hand Cadet to the Director of Cadet Programs. The 33rd CTG/CC will make sure their Squadron Commander conduct the Mission of the Oregon Wing Leadership School and to look at creating and maintaining course for the Cadets to experience different aspect of Civil Air Patrol outside of Leadership. The 33rd CTG will collaborate closely with the Assistant Director of Cadet Programs-Cadet Activities. Responsibilities may include: Manges the 3 Cadet Training Group Squadron Commanders Coordinate with the Cadet Activities Managers to ensure that Cadet Activities are spread across the Wing. Provide Feedback with the Cadet Squadron Commanders to ensure that their Staff are adequately trained. Creation of a Training Group Motto for the 33rd CTG Ensure compliance of CAPR 60-1 and other Directives that apply to Cadet Programs Review the Cadet Curriculum annually with the Cadet Operation Squadron Commander, Plans and Curriculum Flight Commander, and the Assistant Director of Cadet Programs- Cadet Activities Coordinate with the Squadron Commander, 33rd CTG 1st Sergeant and Offices as necessary appointed beneath them to create a Quarterly Meeting Coordinate with each local unit Cadet Commander to ensure that their cadets are aware of Wing Level Cadet Activities Develop and implement effective training programs in accordance with CAP regulations and guidelines. Provide leadership and guidance to cadet staff members, ensuring a positive and inclusive training environment. Collaborate with other CAP units to coordinate joint training activities and enhance overall cadet development. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all training exercises and activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cadet training achievements, evaluations, and attendance. Foster a culture of discipline, teamwork, and respect among cadets, emphasizing CAP's core values. Act as a liaison between the 33rd Cadet Training Group and Cadet Programs Leadership, communicating effectively and providing regular updates. Participate in leadership development opportunities to enhance personal and professional skills. Uphold the ethical standards and principles of CAP, serving as a role model for cadets and fellow staff members. Perform other Duties as Assigned Cadet Minimum Requirements for position: Hold the Grade of C/Capt or higher At least 2 years in the Cadet Program Been a Cadet Commander or Event Coordinator for an event in Cadet Program in the last 24 months (about 2 years)

Be a SME for your geographical location on Cadet Activities Be able to coordinate with subordinates and Squadrons on hosting OWLS events. Create a rolling calendar of 4 OWLS that focuses on each cadet Phase of learning. Create a rolling calendar of 2 OWLS that focuses on Drill/Color guard.
